FAQ

What's up with the Oddities category?

The Oddities category contains seconds, a term often used for pieces that have a "flaw" of some kind that means they don't meet the cut for regular sale. I call them oddities because often, these flaws are aesthetic and surface level meaning they simply don't meet my aesthetic quality standards but might meet yours. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the flaws do not impact the functionality of the piece.

Examples of flaws:

How should I care for these ceramic pieces?

All items are food-save and microwave-safe unless otherwise listed in the product description. I recommend hand washing items to increase the longevity of the piece but these are also dishwasher safe!

What do you use for packaging?

I try my best to use sustainable packaging. This includes reusing wrapping paper and boxes that I get in the mail which means your packages might look a little worn when they arrive. This also means your order might come with styrofoam packing peanuts or plastic materials as I'm reusing as much as I can.

Because of this, I can't guarantee that every package that goes out uses recyclable material, but please trust that I am doing my best in reusing materials on my end!
